ABOUT LEGACY STORYBOOK

Some Stories Only Get One Chance to Survive

We founded Legacy Storybook with a single conviction: the people you love carry
irreplaceable wisdom, humor, heartbreak, and history - and most of it will never be written down unless someone makes it their purpose to do so.

"

Every family has a story worth telling.
Most of them die untold.
We make sure yours isn’t one of them.

WHERE WE COME FROM

Pharmacists by training.
Storytellers by what the job taught us.

Two pharmacists who spent years learning something medicine never taught them — how to slow down and truly listen.

There's a particular kind of conversation that happens at a pharmacy counter — one that never makes it into the job description. A daughter picking up her mother's medications for the first time. A husband who's been coming in for thirty years, suddenly coming in alone. You learn quickly that people don't need another clinical interaction. They need someone who will slow down and actually see them.

We saw a lot of people in those years. And somewhere in those exchanges, we noticed the same quiet ache — families rich with history, with humor, with hard-won wisdom — and no real plan for what happens to any of it.

Legacy Storybook is our answer.

We built it for the parent whose stories deserve more than a eulogy. For the grandchild who will one day want to know exactly who came before them. For every family that has ever sat around a table and thought — someone should write this down.

We're the someone.

Our Team

Filmon Haile

Co-Founder

Trained as a PharmD, Filmon discovered his passion for storytelling while working in a nursing home in Alaska — inspired by the depth, wisdom, and untold stories each resident carried. He co-founded Legacy Storybook to preserve those life stories and turn them into lasting legacies for future generations.

Eleonso Cristobal

Co-Founder

Eleonso spent years as a pharmacist standing at the intersection of medicine and grief — watching families receive diagnoses, navigate end-of-life decisions, and leave the counter carrying more than a prescription. He co-founded Legacy Storybook because he kept meeting people whose lives deserved a book, and no one was writing it.
